Tour Itinerary
Saturday
We depart from the home area early on Saturday Morning and drive to Dover to board the ferry to Calais. From Calais, we travel down through France to the Loire Valley and our overnight stop in Tours, at the Mercure Hotel.
Sunday
After breakfast we depart Tours and travel to Ascain. We will be taking a leisurely route with a stop en route.
Monday and Tuesday
On Monday and Tuesday there will be excursions to local places of interest, along with free time to relax in Ascain.
Wednesday
We depart Ascain and travel the short distance to St Jean de Luz, a fishing port on the Basque coast known for its architecture, sandy bay and the quality of the local cuisine, before making our way to Isla.
Thursday to Sunday
From Thursday to Sunday there will be excursions to local places of interest, along with free time to relax in Isla.
Monday
We depart Isla in the morning and travel to San Sebastian, which boasts one of the finest beaches to be found within a city anywhere in the world and an impressive Cathedral.
From San Sebastian, we make our way to the Bois De La Marche Hotel in the Romanesque city of Poitiers for our overnight stop.
Tuesday
We depart Poitiers in the morning and make our way back to the home area via the Calais - Dover ferry. We expect to arrive at the home area in the Late Evening of Tuesday.
