Storm Goretti Updates

 

There has been a covering of snow through the evening of 8th Jan. As of 20:25 it seems to be turning to rain but that may change again through the night.

 

We are monitoring the roads around us along with keeping in touch with all the schools we serve on our various routes.

We will asses the conditions at 05:00 on 9th Jan to see how feasable it will be to operate our various routes. 

 

Obviously our main priority is the safety of the passengers but we are still hopeful that road conditions will be acceptable.

 

For those on our SMS update service, we will send a message out at 06:00 with an update once conditions have been assessed and schools spoken to.

 

 

06:00 update -

 

 Road conditions are wet with large puddles etc forming occasionally but the snow has mainly been washed away that we've seen. 

All routes will be operating as normal at the moment but we will continue to keep an eye on the weather as it is still raining which pmay present issues if it gets colder later in the day.
